INTRODUCTION

A. PURPOSE

This site contains information pertaining to the government's assault upon the free speech rights of a targeted group of small financial publishers including government's attempt to force registration of information provided over the Internet.

The first document (I. CFTC Letter) following this INTRODUCTION
addresses the government's request for comment on its proposed regulation. The second document (II. Frank Taucher's response to (CFTC letter) was written by the author whose book was sued by the government in an attempt to force registration of the book.

A January 1998 update is provided in the third document which may be accessed at the bottom of the page (III. Is the Constitution dead?)


B. ABOUT THE BOOK

The book is not pornographic nor does it provide instruction on the construction of bombs. In fact, you would not be ashamed if your daughter read this book as it is a financial "almanac" published every six months.

The almanac has received several "Investment Book of the Year"-type awards along
with many favorable reviews in such publications as "Forbes, The Wall Street Journal", and so on.

C. HOW YOU CAN HELP

After you have read the author's response, we hope you will lend a hand by doing the
following;

1. Share this site with at least five other citizens.

2. E-mail your concerns to secretary@CFTC.gov even if only to express your support for the principles stated in author Taucher's response letter.

3. Ask your congressional representative to visit this site and learn how the "Law of the
Land" apparently does not apply to out-of-control government regulators who readily
confiscate our property and oppress our Constitutional and civil liberties. Request of him that he pay especial attention to that portion of Taucher's letter that shows EXACTLY how such oppression can be stopped dead in its tracks.

5. A "Censorship of the Internet" hot-link from your home page to our site would be

a. the legal references in the response letter are freely presented for your benefit. The
author, who has spent tens of thousands of dollars (and it seems like just as many hours) researching the legal references and arguments presented in his letter, can only hope that you will never need to use them.

b. Sharing this story with your existing customers will go a long way to halting the
government's incursion. Even a very brief insertion such as "To find out about
government's plans to regulate the Internet and censor this newsletter, visit
http://www.busprod.com/censorship" should suffice.

c. And don't forget about placing the same brief insertion in those advertisements, either.
