Futures Market - Soybean Highlight #1 Trading technique provides entry at 1998 first half low and just prior to most explosive rally of the year. (COMMENT # 441, 452, 486)
UPDATED 19980615 COMMENT 1998-441 1. If the stock market holds Friday's lows today, you will find the use of the "ALMANAC V" trading system on page 256 of "The 1998 $upertrader's Almanac - 1st Half Edition" to be quite appropriate. 2. In particular, the 2nd entry in the "SHORT" listing for this week's markets on page 236 (TRADE # 14), and 3. the first, second, fourth, fifth, sixth, and eighth entries in the "LONG" listings for this week's markets on the same page (TRADE #s 3, 7, 19, 24, 31, and LC). 4. Remember, these don't have to occur today for signal to be obtained. 5. Also, don't limit your selections to those identified in just the COMMENT, but also include those markets where been expecting turns.
UPDATED 19980616 COMMENT 1998-452 1. It didn't take long for the DMU and SUV to provide "buy" signals yesterday in COMMENT # 441. 2. However, do not overlook such entry techniques as the pattern recognition information on pages 205-209 of "The $upertrader's Reference Manual" in such markets as those presented in the complex on page 346 of "The 1998 $upertrader's Almanac - 1st Half Edition" or on page 352 (see pages 405 in "The 1998-99 $upertrader's Book of Linear Time Cycles", the remaining "Weekly Inversion Cycles" on page 125, and page 417). 3. Also, while we're at it, let's not overlook the market on page 350 of "The 1998 $upertrader's Almanac - 1st Half Edition" or page 413 of "The 1998-99 $upertrader's Book of Linear Time Cycles" (where we might be a little early). 4. Finally, don't forget to apply these techniques to the other markets we've been highlighting of late.
UPDATED 19980626 COMMENT 1998-486 1. Even though it is late in the first half, we still want to be extremely cognizant of the information in the second, third, and fourth lines for Tuesday on page 246 of "The 1998 $upertrader's Almanac - 1st Half Edition". 2. As it so happens, this is probably the most important information around for this particular time of the year. 3. For instance, turn to the bottom of page 250. 4. Note all the "FND LAUNCHINGS" listed. 5. Can you see that "RPT" stuff? 6. Isn't this easy? 7. Now go back and review the markets we've focused on the last week or two. 8. That run into Thursday's high in the beans, for instance, was over $3,000 in just a few days (see page 398 of "The 1998 $upertrader's Almanac - 1st Half Edition"). 9. Bunch of other markets did the same thing. 10. What do you think are the chances of a retest coinciding with the info on pages 246, 250 and 398 of "The 1998 $upertrader's Almanac - 1st Half Edition"? 11. Isn't this simple? 12. Isn't this fun? 13. We already know what's likely to occur and it hasn't even happened yet. 14. Just like it was written 8 months or so ago!
